In the latest Round-House design we did light earth walls (straw coated with clay slurry) covered with earth plasters on the interior and lime plaster on the exterior.

The Pataka - Round Tiny House 
This is an extremely windy site.  So we built a earthen berm as a windbreak.  Glass bottle insulation floor with piping for future in floor heating.  Polystyrene walls covered with a lime plaster on the exterior and earth plaster on the interior.

Backyard sleepout - Earthbag Building
This earthbag structure was designed to have a flat back to fit a bed, flat front for sliding glass door, and more conventional shaped roof to fit the pvc tarp roof.

Luminate Festival - Large Portable Round-House
This is the largest portable structure we built.  Measuring 30'x 50'.
We built this large round house with center round room and up to six outer rooms as a healing space for Luminate Festival for 5 years.

This Round-House was build in 3 days for only $1000.  We built it during a workshop with 13 participants.

Solscape - Earthbag Dome 2
The second dome was built without a loft to save time and cost.  This dome took around 2 months to build with a material cost of around $5,000 NZD

Solscape Eco-retreat - Raglan, NZ

Solscape - Earthbag Dome 1
Bomun designed and built this dome as a demonstration project.  It took around 3 months to build with an average of 7 volunteers.  Material cost was around $8,000 NZD.  It lives at Solscape Eco retreat where it can be rented by the night.
